Terms of use

Last updated 25 July 2026. These terms cover the TapMakers apps and this website.

Using our apps

You may use our apps for personal, non-commercial purposes on devices you own or control. You may not copy, resell, reverse-engineer or redistribute them, or use them to break the law or harm anyone.

Your content

Anything you put into an app — photos, food entries, notes — stays yours. We claim no ownership over it and only process it to make the app work, as described in our privacy policy.

Subscriptions and payments

Some apps offer paid features through a subscription. Prices and billing periods are shown before you buy. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled, and you cancel them in your App Store or Google Play account settings — not in the app. Free trials convert to a paid period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the trial ends.

Refunds are handled by Apple and Google under their own policies. If something went genuinely wrong, mail us and we will help you make the case.

Availability

We work to keep our apps running, but we do not promise uninterrupted service. Features may change, and an app may be discontinued — if that happens to an app you pay for, we will give notice and stop billing.

Your data is your responsibility too

Some of our apps delete files at your instruction. Deletions are permanent, so keep a backup of anything you would miss. We are not able to recover data that you chose to remove.

Liability

Our apps are provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits rights you have as a consumer under mandatory law.

Health disclaimer

Apps in the Health category are informational tools, not medical devices. Nutrition estimates are approximations. Talk to a qualified professional before making decisions about your health.

Governing law

Dutch law applies, and disputes go to the competent courts of the Netherlands, unless mandatory consumer law in your country says otherwise.
